I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus, busy spending time with the cutest tiny guy ever, who my husband and I welcomed in late February. I’ll be back soon with new posts, but for now am trying to appreciate every minute of my maternity leave with this little dude. Being a parent is awesome, but so different than I expected. I knew it would be a challenge, but thought the tough stuff would be learning how to hold him while supporting his tiny baby head, or learning how to entertain him. Instead it’s more a physical challenge, as in, learning why sleep deprivation is considered a form of torture. I also didn’t expect to enjoy being a mom so much. He gets more fun and cuter every day. I even miss him when he’s napping. More pretty DIYs are to come, but for now I’m going to keep snuggling the sweetest little person I know.
